New Year’s Resolution: Mission 5K
I started running back in 2012 because I made a New Year’s resolution to train for and run a 5k. To this day it is the only New Year’s resolution I have kept - ha!
Running 3 miles in a row can seem daunting to those just starting out, which is why this plan I created doesn’t track mileage, it tracks minutes. You can do anything for a minute, right? Well the first week you only have to run for 2 minutes at a time. You’ll build up your endurance over the next 11 weeks and progress to just over 30 minutes of straight running. You can do it - I believe in you!
